echo chorus
A downloadable songwriting game
Listen, do you feel the ripple? the twinkle of a bell rebounding?

Encounter past selves, cultural touchstones or one’s own root lineages. Write a new song.
You will need: 1d8, 1d12, songwriting tools of choice, time, access to the internet or physical reference materials.

Using oracle dice and a divined source text: you will compose a new song, that “glosses” an existing stanza or section.
Your song will sample those lines and reframe them into a new piece with its own meaning, inspired by the poetic form of the glosa. This form plays with lineage, history, citation, and playful re-contextualization. The game comes as a trifold print and play set of rules and a songsheet to use if desired.
